With this in mind, we set out to find a cost effective, growth-driven solution that addressed these issues.

Adam Boucher

Adam Boucher

CEO & Co-Founder

A born entrepreneur with apassion for the environment, Adam has dedicated the last decade to seeing the solarindustry succeed. He has developed new forms of financing, funding over 1000 projects,and started a commercial solar contracting and development company that hasserved over 10,000 units of multifamily affordable housing. His knack foridentifying the next opportunity has led him to create new business models andbuild strong teams central to their success. Inspired by the convergence of newtechnologies and their disruptive impact on energy, Adam is now leading thedevelopment of the new energy cloud marketplace empowering individuals andbusinesses to produce, consume and transact their own energy.



CTO & Co-Founder

Jonas brings over 20 years’ experience in design-build contracting and solar development. He grew up working for a family contracting company, became a licensed journeyman plumber and managed teams of 40+ MEP and HVAC tradesmen. In 2009, inspired by a personal calling to join the solar industry, his first role gave him a seat at hundreds of kitchen tables selling solar to homeowners. Yet his broad base of expertise led him to assume many different hats including estimator, engineer, installer and master solar designer. For that past 6 years Jonas has provided solar solutions for hundreds of commercial solar, LEED, net zero, and energy storage projects. His continued interest in new technology and data science, combined with his technical application experience, gives Jonas a unique perspective and ability to lead the next wave of transformation impacting the distributed energy sector.


Derek Huntington


Derek is a finance wizard with broad financial expertise and experience, spanning corporate financial management, community economic development, and renewable energy finance. He led the development of the Sonoma County GoLocal Cooperative, a hybrid business marketing and consumer cooperative that centered around a local Rewards Card currency still accepted today. For the last 7 years, Derek has developed financial models and energy service agreements that incorporate energy efficiency measures, solar PV and energy storage. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Bill is a serial entrepreneur who specialized in taking small startups and growing them to successful business that were sought out for acquisition. One such company was an international barter company that used one of the first digital currencies for online transactions. Bill’s experience in growing and nurturing young companies was expanded when he turned to marketing full time. His experience over 25 years is only matched by his continuous drive to find, test, and adopt the most innovative tools, techniques, and strategies. Using a quantifiable metric-driven approach, Bill believes marketing and sales success must be defined as substantial increases in customers, revenue, and profitability. Bill has an MS in Digital Marketing and a Juris Doctor degree.
